Gear up for an enriching Fall 2024 at West Coast Centre for Learning! We are excited to bring back our most popular classes and introduce innovative new neurodiverse programs this season. Available both online and in person, our comprehensive lineup empowers children, teens, and young adults to excel in environments that affirm their neurological diversity.

New and Returning Offerings This Fall

This fall, we’re thrilled to roll out new initiatives. Our new Psychoeducational Assessments and Equine Facilitated Wellness programs are integral parts of our expanding neurodiverse programs. Furthermore, we continue to enhance our neuroaffirming practices to better serve our neurodiverse clients. Our Psychoeducational Assessments pinpoint individual learning needs, enabling us to tailor educational strategies effectively. Similarly, the Equine Facilitated Wellness program harnesses horse-assisted activities to foster social and emotional learning and emotional healing.

Enhanced Programs for Children

Our children’s neurodiverse programs are designed to build critical skills in a fun and supportive setting. For instance, Secret Agent Society (SAS) uses a spy-themed curriculum to teach essential social skills, helping children master the art of navigating social challenges. Additionally, Fast ForWord and Clear Fluency boost reading and cognitive skills through scientifically-backed exercises. These programs both accommodate a wide range of learning styles and needs. Moreover, our THRIVE – ADHD + Me program focus on managing ADHD symptoms, enhancing focus, and building organizational and executive function skills, providing comprehensive support for children’s development.

Expanded Support for Teens and Young Adults

We offer a diverse selection of neurodiverse programs for teens and young adults, aimed at developing vital life skills and fostering independence. Specifically, our Executive Function Coaching sharpens organizational abilities, enhances time management, and promotes emotional control, crucial for tackling life’s complexities. Likewise, the PEERS program, specifically designed for both teens and young adults, improves interpersonal skills and helps participants forge lasting relationships. Additionally, our Cogmed program strengthens working memory and attention, vital for academic and personal achievement.
